Speaking of Shoes...

Last week marked 3 years of blogging since my first post in Philadelphia. Schmap liked my pictures so much they used some of my photos for maps of historic places.

Oystercatchers on Tampa Bay

One of the top places I can be found during the apocalypse and I would leave a trail of shells in my path. If I were to eat like there is no tomorrow, I'd choose here and gaze out at the last sunset. The un-oaked Chardonnay is delightful with a steady line of various oysters from around around the map.

Monday at Miguel's

I think since the weather has been incredibly steamy this time of year and the fact I cooked a feast over the past 3 days, I wanted to get out for dinner. Huge chains crossed the Guadalquivir river and this structure anchored them thus preventing ships from sailing upstream. The chains were used in the city's defense against the Castilian fleet during the reconquest.

Dinner Out

Yesterday was one of those crazy days by the time I got home we went out to eat. Sometimes a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. The sangria at Michael's Grill is rimmed with brown sugar and I felt like I was in some exotic location. Instantly relaxing.

An Evening in Seville, Spain

Seville Cathedral
The cathedral in Seville built in 1401, occupies the site of the great mosque. A climb to the top of La Giraldi allows me to take in the beauty of the city below and the many angles of the immense cathedral. The top of the tower has gone through 4 different changes to reflect the powers of control to the current renaissance belfry.
