The Foodbuzz Tastemaker program sent me an assortment of breads to try for the summer grilling season. The all natural buns and rolls were the perfect addition to my BBQ. Each loaf is 100% organic bread. The whole wheat bakery buns rocked my world with flavor and texture and when I toasted them slightly on the grill the scent was heaven. I grill out often and now I will go out of my way to select these buns.

Portabella on a Kaiser Roll

Good morning, my evenings are filled with walking the dog and bike rides. All the things my day rarely allows due to the scorching sun and of course work.

Last night I grilled this meaty portabella mushroom burger and made some guacamole and coated one side of the bun with yummy goodness. This is so much better on a kaiser roll than the bread slices I used last week.

Grilled Portabella Mushrooms

Portabellas cooked on the grill are delicious. Big, thick, juicy and packed with flavor gets me drooling for the moist treat. I am not a vegan but sometimes I am accused of being one. The first time I had one of these was when a steak was perched delicately on top of one of these grilled portabellas. I carefully cut a piece off by itself and was amazed with the taste. I thought the steak juices enhanced the flavor but I was wrong. It holds it own just fine.
