My weekends are spent out on the water; boating, swimming, and frolicking on the beach at sunset. The water is calm and warm, maybe too warm in August. Getting lost is not a waste of time. I never wear my watch and purposely loose track of my cell phone.
The Foodbuzz Tastemaker program sent me an assortment of breads to try for the summer grilling season. The all natural buns and rolls were the perfect addition to my BBQ. Each loaf is 100% organic bread. The whole wheat bakery buns rocked my world with flavor and texture and when I toasted them slightly on the grill the scent was heaven. I grill out often and now I will go out of my way to select these buns.
My little dobie is still recuperating so she needs to stay out of the sweltering sun and inside.
Attending the family reunion was a regular occurrence in the summer where I grew up. There was a phrase that brought relief to every kid and parent within ear shot of 200 yards, "Who's ready for a swim?" All of us could envision the shade, rafts and rope swings.
