This week is keeping me on my toes. Between work, the roof, and rearranging furniture from the madness, I slept through the night with no problem. It's a huge sense of relief knowing it can take the torrential rain until it's completely redone. When I woke up I checked the floors and the news is good.
Temperatures warmed up yesterday to a high of 66 and felt glorious. Today 72 is expected. I've got a to do list and I'm going to enjoy every single minute of the warmth. This morning I did yoga and then walked my dog since she was anxious to get out and about. We stopped at Starbucks and I went inside while she waited outside and then we split a parfait.
Last night I was determined to get a walk in with Coda. Since her fur coat is too thin in the howling wind, I bundled her up in her fleece jacket and we set out for a short walk around the neighborhood. She was très excited.
