This week is keeping me on my toes. Between work, the roof, and rearranging furniture from the madness, I slept through the night with no problem. It's a huge sense of relief knowing it can take the torrential rain until it's completely redone. When I woke up I checked the floors and the news is good.
Yesterday, we had blustery weather arrive and by nightfall heaters were cranked on. When the weather dips to 32 at night I'm not going to miss my chance to get firewood. Christmas trees can wait but I was in need of logs, pronto!
And there was sun. After what seemed like a month of rain, my heart swelled at the sight of the sunrise. I got up and went for a run just to see it fill the morning sky. My friends, it was a wonderful thing, many people were out walking their dogs and chatting with passersby. If you have never experienced a Florida sky you owe it to yourself to do so. The big blue clean air will overwhelm you.
