Yesterday, we had blustery weather arrive and by nightfall heaters were cranked on. When the weather dips to 32 at night I'm not going to miss my chance to get firewood. Christmas trees can wait but I was in need of logs, pronto!

The weather last night was especially beautiful and I'm dressed appropriately in my shorts, flipflops and sporting my best Anthony Bourdain chef attire in The Ramones t-shirt. The lanai is lit with hurricane candles and the scent of grilled steaks in the air. What is it about eating outside that makes every bite taste better? The soup appetizer was just what I needed to take the edge off my hunger.
