The day called for some serious comfort food. The wind was howling here and just a tad on the cool side. While the north reacted to what looked like "Halloween town", I rake a few leaves to pile together for the pumpkin patch. Proper fuel for raking = pancakes.
On Halloween, I doubt I act my age.
My objective is to listen to the evidence, look for patterns, follow every lead. Right now I'm on another mission to get more Caf-Pow. When I get back to the lab I'm going to play really loud music and astonish Gibbs with the tools and skills I have.
Thirteen days before Halloween. I eagerly anticipate the fun and games. Small children in my neighborhood are so cute when they trick-or-treat with hopes of scoring gummy eyeballs or wizard licorice. What's not to like? I can never have too many pumpkins or candles.
Fall officially began weeks ago; however, it may take some time to make its way near me. Images of yellow, burnt orange and red clay begin to stain the leaves with beauty.
This is the time of year when I bring the skeleton out of my closet. It was getting really crowded in there so this will be good to dust off the cobwebs and scare the neighbors. It isn't so bad once the skeleton starts to help with the yard work.
