Holy yummy moist sweet fish on a light bun fun! This recipe is so easy and light you really need to try it out. Take some olive oil and coat the fish and then sprinkle it with salt and pepper. That's it! Then you grill them 5 minutes on each side. These will melt in your mouth with sweet juicy flavor.

I'm so glad that I can get home in time for the sunlight to get a run in. The perfect temperatures have been spoiling me and if that doesn't make me want to get out and lace up NOTHING WILL.

This week is keeping me on my toes. Between work, the roof, and rearranging furniture from the madness, I slept through the night with no problem. It's a huge sense of relief knowing it can take the torrential rain until it's completely redone. When I woke up I checked the floors and the news is good.

I've run out of clothes to put on. In an effort to stay warm I have resorted to layering every piece of clothing I can manage to put on top of another. Remember the episode of Friends where Joey does this with Chandler's clothes?

This squirrel was cute eating fruit and acorns on the rocks. There are so many acorns around for them to eat. Did you know Florida is the only state with no snow at this time? What you might not realize is the water temperatures are 50 degrees. Manatees and fish life have a hard time in these temperatures.

For Christmas, I was given a pair of the Lululemon groove pants and they were the wrong size. I had to go back to the store to get a smaller pair. I'm not going to lie, I had a hard time keeping my wallet in my purse. It's a good thing I'm a saver or I would have bought a few tops to go with the pants.

The weather is beautiful and the weekend is here. I don't have any plans of running the Disney Marathon but good luck to all those runners. A few years ago I ran races but never a marathon - mostly the Gasparilla race and smaller 10k races. Over time I felt the need to cut back on my miles and enjoy the run itself. Plantar fasciitis became an issue from too many races, too many hard miles on my small feet. Besides, the time it takes to train for a big race is a drain on free time. For those getting started in running it is a fun way to get involved and meet other runners.

For Christmas I scored a new toy and I have been using it to mix up some fruit smoothies. Florida is home to the strawberry capitol in Plant City and these gorgeous ripe berries are bursting in the market everywhere this time of year. A winter perk.
