X Marks The Spot

The patient is doing very well. Coda started palliative radiation therapy on Wednesday and this will continue for 3 more treatments. Coda has gotten her life back and so have I. The radiation does not hurt her; but, they do knock dogs out in order to keep them still. If I ever learn how to teach a dog not to breathe I'm joining forces with FVS.

My appetite has returned and I like the sight of food again. For lunch today, I made a spinach salad with strawberries and Gorgonzola cheese. For the dressing I used 1 tsp of honey and 1 tsp of passion fruit juice and a dash of olive oil. Typically I use oranges but when orange season is over I pour in juice from a jug. This is perfect for a topping on a simple salad.

It feels wonderful to sleep in, relax and practice the art of doing thing.
