Sharpening My Knife Skills

I'm doing better today and realize I need time to adjust to getting back in my routine. Cookies and naps were cut out cold turkey. So far I've eaten: kiwi, banana, whole grapefruit, strawberries, tangerine.

Lunch was more shrimp but I added peas to the mix.

Then, when I got in I armed myself with a pot and a counter full of vegetables to put my knife skills to the test. I chopped for the next 20 minutes and threw in all kinds of greens and other colors to the soup.

It hit the spot and I load it up on a variety of vegetables and spices to add in the rotation this week.

The weather today had been gorgeous. Tonight, it's going to rain so I'll watch the hockey game at home instead of the pub. We have a new goalie and the Lightning are playing the Penguins.
