My New Roof

I'm happy with the new roof and the work was completed in 2 days. My back yard looks like a back yard again instead of the workbench with saws and cords. My dog is very happy to have her play area to romp in. Coda wandered the house with complete insouciance to the noise from the past 2 days.

Today I've been picking up the inside moving furniture back in place and going over the yard and driveway many times over to pick up nails, nails, and more nails. They left a large magnet to sweep the ground over and over again and I keep finding more nails. This is not a good thing.

For dinner tonight I cooked beef tenderloin with apricots and olives from a recipe found on ELR that was savory and sweet. Next time I will cut the apricots down to 1/2 a cup because it was too much.

This was a very simple quick meal to make and everyone loved it.
