Toasty Breakfast

This squirrel was cute eating fruit and acorns on the rocks. There are so many acorns around for them to eat. Did you know Florida is the only state with no snow at this time? What you might not realize is the water temperatures are 50 degrees. Manatees and fish life have a hard time in these temperatures.

These waffles look a bit lonely without fruit on top but they were warm and toasty and had blueberries inside. I topped them with maple syrup.

I'm pretty sure the wildlife wants my toaster waffles.

In other food news I can't say enough about this ricebowl. I stirred in dried cranberries, feta cheese, cilantro, and edamane and then savored each bite. Any leftovers will be served at dinner.
