Will Brake For Tacos

You know how much I love tacos, right? I can put anything on a tortilla shell; fish tacos are my favorite. I've made a list of some of my favorite taco places in Austin.

Casa Chapula has great fish tacos. The shell was similar to a sweet thin pancake that was out of this world. The salsa was some of the best I had eaten. Here you will find authentic homemade food with plenty of vegetarian options on the menu.

The most interesting taco joint is Torchy's Tacos. I am an adventurous eater so I say - BRING IT! I ordered The Brushfire; comprised of Jamaican jerk chicken, mango, jalapenos, and spices. Torchy's Tacos wins all kinds of hot sauce festival awards. There is a long standing debate of who has the best tacos; don't miss this place!

Wahoo's has wonderful fish tacos but the salsa was not on par with my own. The tortillas are thin and light and the fish is not greasy or fried. The owners who started Wahoo's aimed for Hawaiian fish style but included meat soon after.

Stumbling around Austin I quickly gain a sense that I'll never eat all the tacos I want to on my first visit.

Austin is the kind of town were you can't get a bad taco. Sometimes, the trucks are often the better choices. The trendy shopping strip on SoCo has a string a food trucks for replenishing your energy on a hot day.
