Friday Night at Herbst Pavilion

Since Foodbuzz is located in San Francisco, foodies united in one of the coolest cities in the USA. The Marina District is where street vendors gather and many folks drool over their favorite bites. We had Herbst Pavilion to ourselves in order to taste the highlights of this gastronomic treasure.

The conference sounded the dinner bell, only this time I got on on airplane and crossed the country. Casey crossed continents.

Tonight was about meeting friends. I had never met any of them other than our shared virtual fascination of all things in the kitchen.

It was fun to match the person to the blog and meetup. I tend to eat quite a bit of raw food for instance and I happen to be sitting right next to Michelle at Pure 2 Raw or her twin Lori - It was hard to tell.

Shortly after, we exchanged gifts and I received mine from Quinn at Libation Labs. This is going to be enjoyed with many fireside chats this fall and winter. Thanks Quinn!

As time went on I felt more comfortable and the faces more familiar once I matched their blog to their face. If you like going to parties where you know NOBODY than this is the kind of night it was for me. I'm completely down with doing this!

We filled one another in on tips such as the curry wraps were spicy and held together enough to nibbled along the way. I introduced myself one by one and managed not to spill my food or beverage on anybody.

As the night unfolded I was so glad I had the chance to experience the food trucks of SF while meeting new acquaintances.
