Sitting On The Dock of the Bay

My bags are packed and I'm heading home. Each time I visit California it changes me. The sound of the passing cable cars and the clanking of the carts stacked with towers of dim sum hush patrons in an otherwise noisy and rushed experience. San Francisco is bustling with history and foodie districts in every corner. I'll miss the hills and the giant redwoods and all the food. I won't miss the all the horn honking.

These days, street food is trendy and I can appreciate the convenience especially on a rushed lunch hour. In an ideal world I look forward to gathering at a table and having a relaxing bite while I enjoy time with someone special.
At home, no longer is my fridge the expensive box used to store pizza boxes and beer. I made a pact two few years ago to stop looking at the pretty kitchen clean counters and start messing up spots.
Things I've learned to cook in the 6 months:
I know what quinoa is and how to make it taste good
The microblade is worth every cent
There is no better way to prepare pizza then by hand
No toppings means I throw a salad on top of pizza dough
Dim Sum
Cantonese Egg Rolls
There is other food besides steamed clams and sushi - but don't push me
